Pens are an affordable and practical way to express yourself.  As with all my creations, every one is made individually by hand, and each is unique.  So, if anyone steals.... err, 'borrows' your pen, it will be easy to spot the culprit!

All pens are refillable.  Most of the stick pens can accept an ink insert for a Bic (or equivalent) stick pen.  A few of the stick pens will have a 1" tip; these can accept PaperMate inserts.  Retractable pens can accept standard retractable pen inserts, which can be trimmed to fit any pen.

To replace the insert in a stick pen, use a small pair of pliers (I know some people who use their teeth, although I don't recommend this) to remove the empty ink cartridge.  Remove the ink cartridge from another Bic or PaperMate pen, and insert into the clay pen using the pliers.  Push the insert in gently but firmly.  Do not simply push the pen tip against a surface; this will force the ball point into the insert, giving you a leaky pen.

To replace the insert in a retractable pen, just unscrew the black pen tip (at the end of the pen where the ink is), remove used ink cartridge, and replace with a new one.  Screw the tip back on over the cartridge, and you're done!

At long last, I have found a retractable pen that will accept curing.  Because of added expense and time, these pens cost a bit more.  All have black ink.  Retractable pens are $13.50.
